Viridian Reclaimed Wood today has unveiled a new line of engineered flooring made from sustainable hardwoods.

Sourced from American-grown hardwoods, including white oak, walnut, maple and hickory, there are several color options available in each species, including natural browns, gray tones and whitewash.

“We designed this line of flooring to be a beautiful, cost-effective and prefinished option to meet the demands of commercial environments,” said Pierce Henley, co-owner of the company. “Viridian worked hard to select the right balance of quality, affordability and the best finishes while remaining true to our sustainable roots. Our designers carefully curated the species and colors to complement our reclaimed wood table and wall paneling options.”

Viridian’s engineered flooring line is precision milled and end-matched to 9/16-inch thick, 5- or 7-inches wide and variable lengths with an average of 36-inches long. A thick 3.2mm wear layer allows for multiple re-sandings. It features an industry-leading UV Urethane Matte finish (15 gloss); OSMO oil finishes are also available. The entire line is FSC-certified, meets stringent CARB2 standards for indoor air quality and can contribute points toward the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Credits.

All products can be installed below, on or above grade and they can be nailed, stapled, glued or floated. Most options are suitable for installation over hydronic radiant heat. The flooring includes a lifetime structural warranty and a 25 year residential (three year light commercial) warranty on the finish.
