Organizers of Cersaie 2017 have completed an agreement with Trenitalia and Italo to enable visitors to reach Bologna, Italy, Sept. 25-29 with reserved seats on the Freccia Rossa, Freccia Bianca, and Freccia Argento trains at reduced prices. Visitors who apply on the Cersaie website will be given reductions of 30% over basic fares, 1st and 2nd class fares and Business/Premium/Standard fares on Intercity and Freccia trains departing from any Italian station with direct trips or quick connections. Travellers on Italo will enjoy discounts of 40% on the basic 1st class fare from any Italian city covered by the service. Reduced fares for the high speed train will be available during September.

Visitors can also apply on the Cersaie website for train and local transit packages for day return trips from Milan Central, Turin Porta Nuova, Florence Santa Maria Novella, Rome Termini, and Naples Central stations on the high speed trains of Trenitalia and Italo. This will enable visitors to arrange their entire trip from departure to the Bologna Exhibition Centre. Packages will also be available which include the return train trip, overnight stay in a three- or four-star hotel, and transit from the station to the hotel and station to Cersaie, from Ferrara, Rimini, Padua, Verona, Venice and Florence.

Special offers are also available for air travel. Cersaie has made an agreement with Emirates for a 10% reduction on economy and business class fares available in the company’s system when the flight is reserved; the promotion is valid from Sept. 20 – Oct. 5 for all Emirates return fares to Bologna during Cersaie. Flights with Air Dolomiti from Munich to Bologna, Venice, Verona, and Florence will offer the corporate option for light fares, using the reductions available for higher classes.
