Bentley Prince Street has added Dana Chapital to its design team. In her new post, Chapital will be charged with developing new products and custom projects.

Prior to joining Bentley Prince Street, Chapital was a Senior Axminster Carpet Designer for Brintons U.S.A. She joined Brintons in 2006 and was responsible for helping interior designers, architects, as well as other end-users translate conceptual designs into Axminster woven carpet patterns. Her territory included Washington, D.C., Texas and California.

“We are very excited to have Dana on board with us here at Bentley Prince Street,” said Anthony Minite, president of Bentley Prince Street. “Her commitment to design excellence and customer service is in line with our company’s top values and will make her a great asset to our design department, sales force and customers.”

In addition to five years of design experience, Chapital also has a solid background and passion for sales. She worked in the Design and Sales Division at Valley Forge Fabrics and as a Marketing Assistant at S.A. Recasens Textiles. Under the U.S. National Sales Director, she played a role in expanding the U.S. market for the Barcelona, Spain Corporation; a company that produces 100% solution dyed acrylic fabrics for outdoor products.

Chapital holds a M.S. in Textile Design with a weave concentration and nonwovens minor from Philadelphia University, as well as a B.S. in Business Administration/Management from the University of New Orleans.
