Shaw’s Tuftex division has announced that it will introduce a collection of carpets crafted of STAINMASTER TruSoft nylon, Invista’s new soft, high-performance fiber. Six products will be included in the collection, featuring designs inspired by natural stone and its inherent color complexity.

“We’re genuinely excited about these stunning new products,” said Janet Compton, director of marketing for Tuftex. “These unique styles capture the color complexities found in natural stone, and tie in beautifully to the Tuftex philosophy of color and design we call ‘Color Logic.’ These unique hues enable our customers to choose a stunning Tuftex carpet specifically designed to complement their hard surface choices.”

Recognizing that color can significantly affect the mood and feel of a room, Tuftex developed its Color Logic principles by offering color pallets that compliment and coordinate with stone, ceramic, and hardwood to allow homeowners to create their own ideal interior spaces.

These robust carpet introductions will additionally provide dealers a chance to update their carpet inventory with the industry’s newest looks and styles.

“We are conscious that our dealers are looking for new, exciting products to revitalize their showroom and energize their team for the fall selling season,” said Bob Burton, divisional vice president for Tuftex. “Therefore, we’re breaking with the tradition of introducing products after Shaw’s Winter Market to launch this well-rounded collection, complete with new colors, a durable construction and thoughtful looks to respond to new buying trends.”

The Tuftex TruSoft collection includes the following styles:

Martinica and Palladio are a better/best duo inspired by the natural colorations of travertine, limestone, and granite. The unique blend of yarns creates a transitional look between indoors and outdoors.

Venecia was inspired and created using the same vision of natural stone and shares the same complex yarn combinations in a more luxurious construction.

Coronado Bay and Montage are another better/best pair featuring a textured heather cut pile. Designed for luxury, softness, and durability, the two styles share a tailored finish, offering a unique texture with unsurpassed color clarity.

Sheer Delight was inspired with the cosmopolitan lifestyle in mind. This small-scale pattern portrays timeless sophistication and is blended with TruSoft fibers to provide a depth and richness that compliments natural stone.

Compton noted that the collection will be supported with in-store POP that includes new product tags, floor decals, and a 3-sided standee. “The TruSoft collection really offers the best of everything for the consumer: outstanding style and color in a high-performance, exceptionally soft carpet,” Compton said.
