Capel Rugs has teamed up with top shelter blogger and textile designer Coco, founder of the popular design blog, COCOCOZY. The collaboration has resulted in an exclusive line of fashion-forward licensed rugs being introduced at the April 20 to 25 High Point Market.

Two brands, one collaboration:
Known for creating effortlessly cool interiors on her blog, COCOCOZY, Coco has translated her unique graphic design aesthetic into rug collections that are colorful and comfortable, with a fresh California twist.

"I am beyond thrilled to be partnering with a prestige brand like Capel to introduce the first COCOCOZY rug collection," says the brand's designer and founder, who prefers to be identified only by her nickname of Coco, given to her as a child by her grandmother.

"I have always wanted to design rugs because they are such an important part of decorating," Coco adds. "This rug collection is filled with a selection of designs that are modern, stylish and accessible."

Artfully executed in a 100 percent wool, hand-knotted Indo Tibetan weave, the COCOCOZY for Capel Rugs line showcases Coco's signature patterns and textures in a variety of lively colors, including pink, navy and peacock blue. Each of the five collections - 24 rugs in all - can be freely mixed and matched, with themes ranging from the bold to the demure.

Based in Los Angeles, Coco leads a double life: a successful executive by day and a popular interior design blogger and home furnishings designer by night. When she launched the COCOCOZY blog in 2008, the aim was simple - to help provide interior design and lifestyle inspiration for family, friends and strangers alike. Little did she know that the COCOCOZY blog would become so popular.

With approximately 5 million page views per year, and more than 80,000 daily followers on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, COCOCOZY has become a popular voice for design lovers. Readers include everyday decor enthusiasts as well as celebrities, such as pop star Katy Perry and interior design guru Jonathan Adler.

In 2011, Coco took her passion one step further by creating a luxury line of textiles under the COCOCOZY brand.
