Fossilized bamboo flooring, new from Cali Bamboo.

Cali Bamboo has added the Fossilized bamboo flooring line to its product portfolio.

Cali's Fossilized bamboo flooring comes in two colors: Beachwood, a fresh whitewash hue and Barnwood, a deep, dark walnut color, both of which feature a weathered and worn rustic texture reminiscent of reclaimed hardwoods. With matte and low-gloss finishes trending in the flooring industry, Cali has designed this line of flooring with a hardwax formula, giving the floor a simple and unpolished look, ideal for décor that incorporates natural elements. Oil finishes penetrate the wood and effectively strengthen and protect the floor while revealing and complementing the natural grain and patina of the wood, according to the company.

To celebrate the launch, Cali and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles' (Habitat LA) ReStore are presenting a philanthropic collaboration called the 2014 Green Floor Hand Up. "Habitat for Humanity offers a hand up, not a handout to hardworking, low-income families by offering them affordable homeownership and home repair opportunities," said a Habitat LA representative.

For every square foot of Cali's new line of rustic flooring sold this year, the company will donate a square foot of sustainable bamboo flooring to Habitat LA ReStore, benefiting families in the greater Los Angeles area.

“Through the end of the year, customers can make a positive impact in the community by purchasing this exciting new flooring line from Cali Bamboo," said Jeff Goldberg, founder and CEO of Cali.
