The Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) will host a Webinar—Sustainable Benefits of Recycled Rubber Sound Systems—on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. EST. Christopher Capobianco, New York product manager for Ecore Commercial Flooring, will be the presenter. 

This session will focus on methods for impact sound insulation in flooring systems by providing an overview of available products and an explanation of the advantages of recycled rubber sound insulation including its positive environmental attributes and impact on LEED and FloorScore accreditation.

The Webinar will include a comparison of the characteristics of various sound insulation systems based on their content and performance, the environmental benefits of recycling rubber to produce high-performance sound insulation, the proper specifications of recycled rubber sound insulation, and discussion of how recycled rubber sound insulation can contribute to obtaining LEED credits. This is an American Institute of Architects (AIA) approved Continuing Education System (CES) Webinar.
