The International Surface Event East 2015 (TISE East) dates have shifted to Nov. 2 to 5 and the location is moving to Orlando, Fla. at the Orange County Convention Center.

According to show organizers, these dates and new location will more aptly serve the industry, from both an attendee and exhibitor standpoint, creating a vibrant yet cost-effective experience while maintaining the convenience of an international hub. From hotel and travel options, restaurants and local attractions, Orlando quickly became the ideal location for TISE East.

TISE East exhibits will open Tuesday, Nov. 3 and continue through Thursday, Nov. 5. The comprehensive education program will be held Nov. 2 to 5 (Monday—Thursday) and will feature more than 45 continuing education sessions combined with numerous industry certifications, show floor tours and demos.

The inaugural show was held Oct. 19 to 22, 2014 in Miami Beach, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The results of TISE East 2014 proved to be an outstanding launch, featuring 185 floor covering, stone and tile exhibitors in 50,000 square feet of exhibits. Additionally, attendee demographics strongly confirmed 65% of participants were from the Southeast region of the United States.

“We had no question there was a significant need for an East Coast event and the positive response generated from TISE East 2014 positively reinforced this theory, creating additional business opportunities for our distinguished audience of both exhibitors and attendees,” said Amie Gilmore, director of TISE. “We achieved our goal of delivering an international audience with buyers from the important Latin American market including Mexico, South America and the Caribbean as well as attendees from Europe who are unable to travel to Las Vegas in January.”

The city of Orlando consistently ranks as a top convention destination in the U.S. Dana Teague, vice president with Informa Exhibitions U.S. and TISE, stated that “Hosting our event in Orlando provides a quality venue of choice that maintains affordability in terms of travel, housing and freight. When evaluating the optimal location, we surveyed both exhibitors and attendees and Orlando topped the list for both accessibility and affordability. With the U.S. construction market poised for future growth, we expect TISE East will continue to attract new suppliers and dealers, as well as, a completely different audience you won’t see in Las Vegas.”
