The Connecticut Floor Covering Association recently held its annual charity golf tournament at The Ranch in Southwick, Mass.

The event is the major fundraiser of the year for CFCA, with the proceeds going to both the House of Bread in Hartford, Conn., and the CFCA Scholarship fund.

According to the association, the event was attended by a record 131 golfers. Through the work of CFCA's board, as well as the generosity of its multiple sponsors, the association was able to raise more than $14,000 for its charitable causes.

“This event was so successful because of the hard work and commitment of everyone involved and a special thanks to all the golfers who came out in support of the CFCA and the House of Bread,” said Michael Cosgrove, CFCA's president. “Without the support of our members and affiliates, this outing could not have been possible. Also, thank you to The Ranch for putting on a great event and being so hospitable to our guests.”
