Accord sound rated flooring pad and Accord LVT premium underlayment utilize advanced technology to deliver outstanding sound transmission ratings and moisture protection in floating floor installations, the company said.

 

Accord helps maintain comfort underfoot in engineered, laminate or wood floating floor applications. With sound ratings of IIC 71 and STC 66, Accord provides an outstanding acoustic barrier and provides dependable moisture vapor protection, according to the company.

 

Accord LVT is a superior underlayment and acoustic barrier for vinyl flooring, the company said. With no volatile organic compounds, Accord LVT is hypo-allergenic and exceeds CA 01350 indoor air quality requirements. With one of the highest sound transmission ratings in the industry, Accord LVT utilizes a compression-resistant foam technology for comfort underfoot.

 

Both underlayments are mold and mildew resistant, and feature an integrated edge tape that blocks moisture and speeds installation. Accord is available in 42”-wide, 100 sq. ft. rolls and Accord LVT is available in 31”-wide, 100 sq. ft. rolls.

 

According to the company, the Accord and Accord LVT products install easily, lay flat and demonstrate no roll back.
