Metroflor's new Engage Genesis collection and revitalized Konecto brand both garnered Gold in the Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX).

Additionally, Metroflor's Aspecta Ten was also recognized with a Platinum award.

The ADEX award competition is for excellence in product design of furnishings and building materials marketed to the design trade, with more than 600 companies participating this year. For more than 20 years, ADEX awards have recognized products demonstrating superior innovation, function and aesthetics.

Konecto Grip Strip luxury vinyl tile (LVT) is built upon a “Good/Better/Best” platform designed to satisfy residential, multi-family and Main Street light commercial markets alike with a full range of plank and tile formats, updated designs, new colors and all-over and in-register embossings. With authentic looks/textures, durable ceramic bead finish and low maintenance attributes, Konecto has something for every application. The new Konecto Prestige adds a wider width plank to this popular collection.

Engage Genesis’s robust construction of embossed vinyl, Isocore technology, sound deadening backing and Ultra Fresh antimicrobial treatment are offered in 8, 12 and 20 mil wear layers.

“Having our two brand portfolios recognized for excellence by ADEX is an important third-party declaration from a discerning audience of how design meets functionality in our Metroflor products,” said Russ Rogg, president and CEO of Metroflor.

John Platter, CEO and executive director of ADEX, said, “The judges were very impressed with the broad commercial applications that Metroflor provides. The new Engage Genesis and revamped Konecto brand with the wider plank size, demonstrate great promise in the marketplace.”
