Mannington recently supported Honor Flight, a non-profit organization that sponsors trips for U.S. military veterans to see the Washington, D.C., memorials of the war(s) in which they fought. On the first Saturday of June, war veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam travel to D.C., on an all-expense paid trip that includes breakfast, lunch, and a travel buddy who accompanies the veteran to ensure his/her comfort and enjoyment.
“Our associate Glenn Munyan volunteers with Honor Flight and he put us in touch with them because he felt it was in line with other charities Mannington has supported in the past,” said Betsy Amoroso, senior director of corporate communications for Mannington. “It’s a great organization.”
