Duchateau Launches DUGOOD Corporate Sustainability Program
San Diego, Calif. -- Duchateau announced the launch of DUGOOD, the brand’s new corporate sustainability program. Duchateau has partnered with the non-profit organization, National Forest Foundation (NFF), and DUGOOD will directly contribute to NFF’s ambitious campaign to plant five million trees by 2023. The DUGOOD initiative will commit that one tree will be planted for every Duchateau hardwood floor sold, with a portion of the trees being planted in areas directly impacted by California Wildfires. In partnering with the NFF, DUGOOD encourages consumers, retailers, and all businesses to make conscious buying decisions that are beneficial and sustainable long-term.
“We love having the opportunity to plant trees—especially in the areas ravaged by wildfires,” said Mitch Tagle, Duchateau CEO and co-founder. “Duchateau has a long-standing commitment to sustainability, and the important reforestation work done by NFF aligns with our core values. We have always believed it is important as a company to be environmentally responsible, and DUGOOD further underscores that belief.”
