Halstead/Metroflor To Host Addiction Crisis Charity Golf Tournament
Calhoun, Ga. -- Halstead/Metroflor created an Addiction Crisis charity (HMAC) and a nonprofit organization to raise funds for combating the addiction epidemic, affecting hundreds of thousands of individuals and their families nationwide. The goal is to provide rehabilitation scholarships to families who otherwise would not be financially able to help help their loved ones suffering from Substance Addiction Disorders (SADs).
Halstead/Metroflor will host a fundraising golf tournament on April 30 at the Top Golf Facility in Atlanta. Proceeds will go towards HMAC’s goal of raising $500K over the next two years through a “Save an Addict. Save a Family” Go Fund Me page and other activities, which will be matched dollar for dollar by Metroflor/Halstead for a total of $1 million. The event will start with lunch at noon followed by play until 3 p.m. (EST). The cost, including lunch, is $110 per person. All net proceeds will go to the Addiction Crisis charity.
