Ashville, N.Y. -- It's been a busy week for Tarkett's Northeast regional sales team, Piazza Carpet One Floor and Home, and NRF Distributors who are on the set of Military Makeover, the Lifetime TV show that does home remodels for members of the military and their families.

"Tarkett encourages employees to make a difference in their communities through its Tarkett Cares program," said John Heckman, senior marketing manager, Tarkett. "This program allows every employee to spend up to two days a year of their work time on charitable initiatives. And helping out members of the military was at the top of that list for 18 employees this week."

The Tarkett team worked with Piazza Carpet One Floor and Home of Jamestown, N.Y., and NRF Distributors to install more than 2,500 sq. ft. of flooring for the Willett family in Ashville, N.Y. Air Force veteran Cody Willett and his wife Jessica, who have a three-year-old son, Carter, and a baby girl on the way.

Tarkett, which is Military Makeover's official flooring sponsor, teamed up with the show’s hosts, Jennifer Bertrand and Ryan Stanley, to recommend and provide flooring materials specific to the military family’s needs. Bertrand and the Willetts had the opportunity to choose from any product in Tarkett’s residential catalog.

The show airs nationally in multiple episodes from June 14 to July 12 on Lifetime TV. Look for more previews and a complete feature in the August issue of Floor Trends.
