Two different types of tiles are joined together on the floor to create fascinating, individual random motifs. The ‘Tilt’ tiles with the geometric pattern inspired by a biophilic design are combined with the neutral ‘Tones’ tiles. This collection is Aspecta's first to be presented on the market with a rigid core as well as with the dry back/glue-down installation technique.
'Tilt' and 'Tone' perfectly reflects the appearance of the two tiles. Robert Lang staff, who designed the collection for Aspecta, describes the design of the tilt tiles as the creative play with angles and lines that resembles the sun’s natural interplay of shadows on rocks, sand and meadows. Clever combinations of these graphic tiles in a biophilic design with the tone tiles in the all-over print result in seating areas, directions, borders or unique random motifs. Designers and architects can choose from four coordinated color groups that bring to mind the different color nuances of clay and stone. The groups consist of four striking 'Tilt' graphic tiles that can be combined with two colors of the subtle all-over 'Tone' tiles. Since all the colors harmonise with each other, tiles of different color groups can be combined to create new forms of design. But regardless of what is chosen, the results will always be random, fascinating and creative motifs. The robust collection, whether chosen as multi-layer tiles (60.5 cm x 60.5 cm) or dry back tiles (60.96 cm x 60.96 cm), is particularly suitable for high-traffic commercial settings; for the catering industry, in shop sand offices, schools and administrative buildings.
