Armstrong Flooring Suspends Manufacturing in U.S. for Two Weeks
As efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 ramp up across the country, Armstrong Flooring has made the decision to suspend production for two weeks in their U.S. plants, beginning this Sunday, April 5.
During this time, they remain open for business and their teams are actively working on solutions for customers across the country:
- Their warehouses will continue to operate, shipping product from their inventory to meet essential needs for healthcare, education, housing and other projects
- Additional inventory is available through their distributor partners, which remain operational
- Their sales team continues to hold customer meetings, product presentations, and continuing education programs online
- Their customer service and other corporate departments are working remotely and are accessible to assist with any questions or needs you may have
Armstrong Flooring is taking this proactive step in the U.S. to support nationwide efforts to limit and slow the spread of coronavirus. Their warehouses will continue to operate while maintaining social distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols and other practices to help safeguard team members. During this two-week period, Armstrong will continue to assess the situation and will make determinations about when and how to resume production.
