HMTX Wins Vinyl Sustainability Council's Social Impact Award
HMTX Industries is one of two winners of the first-ever Vinyl Sustainability Council (VSC) 2020 Social Impact Award for its founding of the Halstead/Metroflor Addiction Crisis (HMAC) Charity, a nonprofit organization created to raise funds for combatting the addiction epidemic decimating individuals and their families nationwide. GEON Performance Solutions, of Westlake, Ohio is a co-winner along with HMAC.
The Vinyl Sustainability Council (VSC), a self-funded business council advancing sustainability in the vinyl industry, announced the winners at its virtual annual meeting held December 2, 2020. The VSC Social Impact Award recognizes the efforts of a VSC member that has demonstrated a strong commitment to their communities. It acknowledges a project or program that addresses a social concern utilizing a company’s resources to have a positive impact.
