Beauflor USA Donates Flooring to Local Special Needs Group Home
Beauflor USA, a Georgia-based flooring manufacturer, donated and installed 3,200 square feet of sheet vinyl flooring in a group home in Covington, GA. The group home, which is operated by View Point Health, specializes in the care and support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health is a community behavioral health center that provides treatment and services to individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization’s mission is to improve the quality of life of the individuals they serve, as well as provide behavioral and physical healthcare to those who otherwise may not have access to it.
Beauflor’s Commercial Controller, Keeli Padgett, whose late aunt previously lived at the group home, initiated the donation after receiving pictures from her father that showed ripped and damaged vinyl and carpet flooring throughout the home. She presented the idea to Beauflor’s senior leadership team who agreed to donate the flooring and cover all installation expenses.
