Flooring Distributors Merge Under New Galleher Duffy Brand

Artivo Surfaces is shaking up the flooring distribution landscape by combining three of its major subsidiaries into a new coast-to-coast operation under the Galleher Duffy brand. Based in Livonia, Michigan, is distributor with locations in 18 states and is backed by Transom Capital Group.

"This is more than a rebrand," said Sunil Palakodati, CEO of Artivo Surfaces. "This move marks a bold, strategic leap forward to position both Galleher Duffy and Artivo Surfaces as undisputed leaders in the flooring industry."

The newly formed Galleher Duffy will debuted at The International Surface Event starting January 29, followed by an appearance at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in February. The consolidation encompasses a complete operational transformation, including logistics, sales, customer service, product development, marketing, and real estate.

The merger combines Galleher's established expertise in hardwood flooring with Tom Duffy's Pro-Model of installation supplies and Trinity Hardwood's product portfolio. This strategic consolidation aims to streamline efficiencies and enhance customer service across their 18-state operation.

Backed by Transom Capital Group, Artivo Surfaces offers an extensive portfolio including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, hardwood, luxury vinyl, and installation materials for both residential and commercial markets.

The new brand will maintain operations under the Artivo Surfaces umbrella, alongside Virginia Tile, which continues to operate as a separate division.
