George Tattersfield has joined Metroflor as Midwest Sales Manager. He has amassed extensive experience in resilient products, and was recently a sales manager for a Metroflor distributor.
Max Crosetti has been named Halcon Ceramicas' business development manager. In this role, Crosetti will coordinate a team of marketing and promotion experts to support the sales force in developing new and existing markets worldwide. His responsibilities include branding, positioning in the marketplace, external and internal communication, and new product launches. Prior to joining Halcon, Crosetti held a number of positions related to strategic marketing and business development, most recently as industry analyst for the European offices of Frost & Sullivan, a marketing consultancy firm based in England.
Dave Polisky has been promoted to vice president of technical services at Harris Tarkett. Previously the company's Midwest regional sales manager, he replaces Don Conner who has left the company to serve as technical and product development director for Mullican Flooring. Polisky's tasks include enhancing the company's H-T-U curriculum to ensure that the popular two-day program helps particpants achieve even higher sales and profit growth. In addition, he will qualify all new product concepts and oversee the Consumer Affairs Department.
