Martin, 47, was an architectural sales representative for the New York metropolitan area. He worked for more than 25 years in the floor covering industry, mostly in sales. Martin had spent part of his career at Tarkett and moved on to DuPont Flooring before joining Domco Tarkett Commercial in 1998.

Martin is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Angela and two sons, Ian and Eamonn.
