The Washington State Floor Covering Association (WSFCA) recently participated in Blitz Build, to date the largest building project undertaken by Habitat for Humanity of East King County, Wash. The Snoqualmie Ridge Blitz Build garnered corporate, civic, congregational, and individual support in its effort to build 20 homes and a community center.

The WSFCA donated all of the carpet, laminate flooring, vinyl flooring, sundries, and installation needed for the project. The value of the materials and labor is estimated at nearly $100,000.

All of the homes, which were constructed in two weeks, were built in the Snoqualmie Ridge area for families who otherwise could not afford to buy homes.
