This follows U.S. Patent 6,401,415 which was granted to Faus in 2002 for its Embossed-in-Register laminate flooring technology. The Embossed-in-Register process is designed to bring an authentic look and feel of natural wood, ceramic and stone to laminate flooring products. According to Faus, additional laminate floor patents are due to be awarded soon.

Faus Group Inc. has been granted United States Patent No. 6,638,387. The patent covers a method developed by Faus for the manufacture of Embossed-in-Register laminate floors.
