Conference spotlights the 'greening' of schools and hospitals
Green design solutions for hospitals and k-12 schools will be on the agenda during an educational conference set for May 4-6 at Chicago's Westin River North hotel. The three day meeting will include a keynote address by U.S. Green Building Council president Rick Fedrizzi and conclude with tours of green buildings.
Sessions will include "Tools to Advance Green Healthcare Facilities" by Gail Vittori, co-director of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems and "What Good is a Green School If No One Knows How to Use It?" by Robert J. Kobet, AIA, president of Sustainaissance International.
