Las Vegas-based flooring distributor, J.F. Bellini Co. has been acquired by the Baum Group. Founded in 1975, Bellini has provided retailers, contractors and installers with products from Mohawk, Shaw, Johnsonite and other flooring suppliers. The company was acquired from its founder John Bellini in 1997 by Kirwin, Inc. which expanded and relocated the business to a 12,000 square foot facility in Las Vegas. Kirwin sold the business to Baum for an undisclosed amount. The new owner said all Bellini employees will be retained as the company "continues the tradition of providing high quality products and services to its customers."
