Columbia Flooring will institute a price increase of up to 10 percent on its 3/4" prefinished solid oak
hardwood flooring products. The increase is in response to a long-running
industry trend of rising hardwood lumber costs, according to Columbia.
The new pricing, effective Nov. 1, applies only to Columbia's prefinished oak collection, which includes Adams, Taylor, Carrollton and
Thornton 3/4" solid hardwood offerings. The company's engineered hardwood
flooring products, exotic Out of Africa Collection and Dales Collection
glueless longstrip flooring are exempt from the increase.
