Anderson Hardwood Floors has made numerous changes to its field management team. Carr Newton, formerly Northeast district sales manager, has been promoted to Eastern regional sales manager with overall sales responsibilities for most of the eastern and central United States, with the exception of Texas and parts of Oklahoma and Louisiana.
Erin Finkell has joined Anderson’s sales team as district sales manager for Florida. She is responsible for development, support and training. Freeman “Spike” Tilden, who has held positions in Anderson sales, technical services and marketing for more than 25 years, takes the helm as district sales manager for Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, Mississippi, Tennessee, the north-central states, and eastern Canada. Both Finkell and Tilden will report to Newton.
Oriental Weavers of America has added Barry Kelley and Holly Hopkins to its executive roster. Kelley, a 14-year veteran of the textile industry, has been appointed vice president of marketing, merchandising and creative services. He reports to Steve Stultz, senior vice president. Hopkins, whose experience includes six years in sales with Beaulieu of America, has been appointed as vice president of sales -- national accounts. She now reports to Joan Carpenter, vice president of business development -- national accounts.
Chip Howalt has been named executive vice president of Dalton, Ga.-based Textile Rubber & Chemical Co. In this position, he will work with senior management in planning and implementing policies for continued growth. Previously, Howalt served as general manager of the company’s Tiarco Chemical Division. Kevin Nolan now serves as the head of Tiarco.
