Alliance Mills, a residential carpet program launched at Surfaces 2000 by the Dixie Group, has appointed one-dozen firms from across the nation to serve as charter distributors.

Joining Alliance are Allied-Eastern Distributors, B.R. Funsten & Co., Bishop Distributing, Buckwold Western, Elias Wilf Corp., Orders Distributing Co., Professional Trade Supply, Royal Scot Floorcovering, Schuler Distributing Co., Southern Wholesale Flooring Co., T&L Distributing Co., and Tri-State Wholesale Flooring.

Initially, Alliance Mills will offer two premium lines of residential carpet: ColorFirst and Candlewick Berbers. Both lines will retail for between $14 and $32 per yard.
