Mohawk Industrieshas appointedMonte Thorntonto the position of president-commercial business. Thornton replacesFrank Procopio,who announced his retirement after 19 years with the company. Thornton will also retain the position he held before his most recent appointment, that of president-Karastan business.
Flooring America chairman David L. Nichols has been appointed president and CEO of the organization. Nichols fills the posts formerly held by A.J. Nassar, who resigned from Flooring America to pursue other interests.
Mark Brorby has resigned as president of BonaKemi USA to pursue other career interests. Gary Reynolds, recently retired and founder of the company, will act as interim president, overseeing the organization until a replacement is named.
