NAR Report: Existing home sales still setting records; W. Va. leads with 21.7 percent increase in sales
According to the National Association of Realtors, total existing-home sales continue to break records. In the second quarter, 42 states achieved higher sales activity than last year, the association said.
The national seasonally adjusted annual rate was up 4.6 percent in the second quarter compared to last year, for a total of 7.22 million units sold in the second quarter. Last year's sales were 6.9 million units.
