Avalon digs New Jersey
March 2, 2006
Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring broke ground on what will be the retailer's first store housed in a newly constructed building. The 25,000 square foot unit in Cape May, N.J., is set to open in April and will replace and established location nearby. The 47-year old company operates 12 locations including 10 in New Jersey and one each in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Among those attending the groundbreaking were (pictured left to right) Maryanne Adams, Avalon exec vp; John P. Millar, Avalon president; Bill Juliano, Delco Development; and Nate Doughty, the mayor of Middle Township, N.J.
