Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring broke ground on what will be the retailer's first store housed in a newly constructed building. The 25,000 square foot unit in Cape May, N.J., is set to open in April and will replace and established location nearby. The 47-year old company operates 12 locations including 10 in New Jersey and one each in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
