Alan Delahunty, WFCA past president, left, congratulates Stu Mosoff for receiving the Utah FCA's Lifetime Achievement Award.

In recognition of his 40 years in the industry, Stu Mosoff was honored by the Utah Floor Covering Association with the first Lifetime Achievement Award ever given by the group. His work in flooring began in 1966, at a Sears & Roebuck store in Hollywood, Calif where he quickly became manager of the floor covering department. He went on to manage a number of flooring retail stores in the ensuing years. He joined Hallmark Carpet in 1973 and transitioned to Tuftex Carpet Mill where he remained for the next 17 years. In 1991, Mosoff joined Atlas Carpet Mills as a rep. He resides in Utah and was a founding member of the Utah FCA.

"Stu is a great proponent of associations and helping to foster that atmosphere in Utah," noted Betty Sturdevant of the Utah FCA. "He is very valuable to our industry locally and made his mark over a large area of the country. Our thanks is a small token of our appreciation for his hard work and dedication."
