Patti Stasiak, a devoted advocate of the wood flooring industry who served as president of the accessory maker All American Wood Register, died March 24 from complications due to bone cancer. She was 58.

Fondly remembered for her love of traveling and for "giving her all to the industry," Stasiak is survived by her husband, Thomas Stasiak; three children Dan, Thomas and Jeff Hackman; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, John and James Blanchard.

"Everyone loved Patti," said Thomas Stasiak, who also serves as All American's vp. "She was a diligent worker, but she really knew how to have fun. We're all going to miss her so much, but we have to keep going. We're very proud of everything she helped accomplish. We're determined to honor her by continuing to take care of this company into which she poured heart and soul."

Based in Wonder Lake, Ill., the 34-year old All American Wood Register Co. markets premium-quality wood vents and registers and is a longstanding member of the National Wood Flooring Association. Patti Stasiak served on the organization's membership committee from 1997 to 2004.
