Columbia Commercial Flooring is
set to introduce PureBond, a formaldehyde-free, FSC-certified engineered
hardwood flooring for the commercial segment. The new hardwood entry is
processed using veneers and core material that enable the company to create
“environmentally certified engineered hardwood flooring,” the company says.
The Danville, Va.-based company says PureBond has become a
”fast growing brand” within the green building, architecture and design, and
environmental health sectors. Three domestic species (oak, maple and pecan)
will be offered in 3”- and 5”-widths throughout the company’s North American
distribution network.
