Laticrete has promoted Ron Nash to regional sales manager for the California Southern region (CAS). In his new post, Nash will oversee Laticrete sales efforts in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Hawaii and Southern California. Nash joined the company in 2004 as a technical sales rep based in Utah and was the recipient of the Timothy J. Alper Award for outstanding customer service.
Wools of New Zealand has named Steven Parsons as International Product Development Manager. He will work in Wools of New Zealand’s International Development Center located in Ilkley, England. Parsons has spent the past 12 years with Feltex Carpets in New Zealand.
Mark Iaquinto has joined Formica Flooring’s sales team as Northwest Regional Sales Manager. He will work with Formica distributors Midwest Flooring and SeaPac Sales. Iaquinto comes to Formica with over 15 years experience in distribution and manufacturing, working in the flooring industry these past six years.
Giorgio Squinzi, ceo of the MAPEI Group, was recently honored with the Leonardo Quality Prize for Italy by Giorgio Napolitano, president of the Italian Republic. The prize was given by the Italian Quality Committee “Comitato Leonardo”.
Hunter Douglas Inc. has promoted Andrew Nazari, Ph.D., to the position of vp, senior director of new business development. Having previously served as director of Fabricator Engineering Services, Nazari has more than 20 years of experience in operations management and engineering.
StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative announces the appointment of Jeanne Matson as its new president and ceo. Matson has over 25 years experience at senior level positions within Proctor & Gamble, and will work closely with outgoing president and ceo, Lori Dowling, throughout the transition.
Alloc Inc. has appointed Kevin T. Murphy as vp of sales. Murphy is an industry veteran of 20 years and comes most recently from The Carpenter Co. Murphy replaces Dennis Mohn who will be pursuing other opportunities in the hardwood flooring industry.
Fabrica has expanded its sales management to include a third national sales region. National accounts vp Andy Kuehnel has been given the additional title of vp for the Western region. In a related move, Craig Ulfig has been named to the newly created position of vp for the Central region. Together with current Eastern regional vp Amy Tobin, Kuehnel and Ulfig constitute the newly formed Fabrica sales management team.
