Long joined Shaw 34 years ago and was most recently vp of Shaw's commercial division. In a related announcement, Shaw announced that commercial manufacturing and R&D duties will now be overseen by Long and his management team.

TheTandus Grouphas accepted the resignation ofEdgar "Mac" Bridger, CEO of Tandus and C&A Floorcoverings, and will take effect once a successor is found According to a press statement, the board of directors "concluded that the company would be best served by a change in leadership." To that end, Tandus has launched a search to find a new CEO. In the meantime, Bridger will stay onboard with Tandus and plans to act as a consultant for the company once a successor is found. "Tandus and its people have been an important part of my life," Bridger said. "I look forward to their continued success."
