J&J/Invision, a division of carpet maker J&J Industries, has launched an online tool called ecoScorecard designed to search, evaluate, and document products based on their green benefits. The tool provides “comprehensive accounting of how a specific product contributes to selected sustainability criteria,” the company says.

Mark Clayton, vp marketing for J&J/Invision, said the tool was designed to help architects and designers. “We’ve heard our customers’ frustrations about getting this type of information with reasonable efficiency,” he said.

EcoScorecard evaluates products for systems including LEED, GGHC, NSF-140 and Labs21. The tool is available at www.jjcommercial.com and www.invisioncarpet.com.
