USGBC touts Tau for its green efforts
Spanish tile
maker Tau Ceramica said it has been accredited by the US Green Building Council
for its green manufacturing practices. Until recently, the company was certified
under European standards through the ISO but had not yet received certification
for the North American market.
“Tau Ceramica has been working hard over the last few months to bring its products in line with the requirements of this market, and was even visited by a group of American experts who came to see how the company operates,” Tau said in a release. “From now on our products will feature the [USGBC] emblem, which is greatly valued by professionals and consumers, at points of sale.”
