Invista, maker of Antron carpet fiber, is seeking entries for the 9th Antron Carpet Fiber Product Innovation Award. Designed to honor carpet mills whose products "excel in style, aesthetics, color and usage," the awards also take into consideration the techniques used for the carpet's design. Deadline for entries is May 15.

“The Product Innovation award is an excellent opportunity to recognize outstanding carpet styling from mills,” said Bobby Berrier, vp Invista commercial interiors.

Judges for the Antron Product Innovation Award are set to include Kyle Barnes, research specialist, Walt Disney Imagineering; Susan DiMotta, principal, Perkins Eastman; Lori Kolthof, director of resources, FRCH Worldwide; Jaime Velez, principal, SOM; and Melissa Yu, director of interior services, Page Southerland Page.

The winners will be announced during an award ceremony on June 14 during NeoCon 2009 in Chicago. “We are excited to bring this award to NeoCon this year so that we can showcase the winning styles to NeoCon visitors in our showroom,” Berrier said.
