Mannington Commercial has launched a design competition for designers called tx:style. The company urges architects and designers with no more than seven years of professional experience to send in their ideas for a new commercial carpet pattern. The grand prize winner will see their concept become reality and win a $7,500 cash prize. Contest entries will be collected via the website www.manningtoncommercial.com/txstyle.
“We realized there is a
whole new crop of untested talent who are bursting with fresh ideas and
thinking,” said Natalie Jones, Mannington vp commercial brand development and
creative products. “We created tx:style to help bring these promising stars
into the spotlight and acknowledge their future potential.” Deadline for
entries is Feb. 6.
