In lieu of exhibiting at Surfaces 2011, Anderson said it will join parent company Shaw Industries for Shaw’s regional winter markets. Shaw launched the regional winter events six years ago to display new products and marketed programs to thousands of retailers and distributors in key markets throughout the nation.
“Anderson will independently present the company’s latest innovations within the successful Shaw regional event model. The unity of the offerings underneath the Shaw umbrella will create a more efficient purchasing experience for the Shaw and Anderson customer,” said Randy Merritt, Shaw’s president.
Don Finkell, Anderson president, added that he was excited about the integration into Shaw’s regional events. “After much deliberation, we have concluded that the regional format allows Anderson, and its distributor partners, the best opportunity to review new products and programs with retailers in an intimate, one-on-one setting that is not possible in a single national show.”
