Home builders win building systems design competition
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Building Systems Councils (BSC) bestowed 20 awards to leading national systems-built industry manufacturers and home builders at its annual Showcase event held Oct. 1 - 2 at the NAHB Housing Center in Washington, D.C. The 2013 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design were awarded to those who demonstrated high achievement in home design and marketing materials.
The building systems community is comprised of the manufacturers of concrete, log, modular and panelized homes, as well as those who supply components to the industry and builders who finish the homes onsite. Recipients of the BSC's awards were recognized for excellence in a range of categories from informative and aesthetically-pleasing websites to floor plan designs categorized by systems-built type and square footage.
