PFA Achieves Record Growth in Membership throughout North and South America
With the addition of three new U.S. flexible polyurethane foam producers, eight new associate/supplier members, and four new federated members, the Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) has achieved record growth this year with membership up more than 30 percent, said Joe Progar, PFA president and EVP of Advanced Urethane Technologies. “PFA’s strategic work addressing legislative and regulatory threats is vital to our industry,” he said. “PFA’s collective efforts strengthen our industry as a whole and better equip foam manufacturers to meet future opportunities and challenges.”
According to Progar, growth is coming from companies in the U.S. as well as from other countries. Since announcing its new federated membership category in May 2013, PFA has gained several new members from Canada and Brazil and flexible polyurethane foam producers from other Panamerican countries are expected to join soon.
