Ecore International recently donated 3,000 square-feet of Everlast Fitness Flooring to Leg Up Farm, a non-profit therapy center located in York County, Pa. Designed for infants, children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 21, the mission of Leg Up Farm is “to enrich the lives of families with special needs children through customized therapeutic experiences.”
One of the main attractions at Leg Up Farm is Matthew’s Town. It was erected in honor of Matthew Allen Potter, who was fatally injured in a roller coaster accident in 2001. Located inside a large room within the facility, Matthew’s Town is an interactive learning environment that develops various skills, aided by replicas of local York companies, including a Rutter’s Gas Station and a Martin Potato Chips truck.
