Horizon Forest Products Names Operations Manager

Horizon Forest Products recently welcomed Oscar Velasquez to the Houston Branch as operations manager. Velasquez is a Houston native with a background in operations and warehouse management in the oil and gas industry. He is also currently a part-time student working on his degree in Business Management Administration.

“I could tell from the start that he was curious about this position and not just looking for a job,” said Alan Blake, Houston branch manager for Horizon. ” He asked good questions and tossed out scenario questions, which he still does now. As we know from John Maxwell, curiosity leads to imagination and creativity which gets things done. Oscar is a ‘get things done’ sort of guy.”
