Henzel Studio Partners with Paddle8 for Benefit Auction

Henzel Studio is partnering with Paddle8 for an upcoming auction of the Studio’s handcrafted, artist-designed rugs. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit The Goss-Michael Foundation in Dallas. The auction will unveil rugs designed in collaboration with Marilyn Minter, Jwan Yosef, Sue Webster and Tim Noble, Carsten Hoeller, Sanford Biggers, Tony Oursler, and Ashley Bickerton, and will also feature rugs by Richard Prince, Helmut Lang, Jack Pierson, Mickalene Thomas, Bjarne Melgaard, Nan Goldin, Lawrence Weiner, Sanford Biggers, Honathan Horowitz, Scott Campbell, and the foundations of Tom of Finland and Andy Warhol.

A selection of the rugs will be on display in Dallas at The Goss-Michael Foundation Wednesday, Nov. 13 - Monday, Nov. 25. The auction will take place online at beginning Monday, Nov. 11, and run until Nov. 25. The rugs range in value from $10,000 - $25,000.

The Goss-Michael Foundation supports artists at multiple points in their careers, through student scholarships, emerging artist grants, and artist in residency program and world-class exhibitions. In addition, the Foundation presents and organizes the annual MTV RE:DEFINE Art Auction Gala in partnership with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation. Since 2011, MTV RE:DEFINE has been recognized as a premiere exhibition and auction in Dallas, raising over $14 million to date.
