Mannington and DuPont announce partnership to introduce hard surface floors with Teflon

Mannington Mills Inc. and DuPont have announced an exclusive, multi-year agreement where Mannington will market newly developed coatings for resilient, laminate and wood flooring products using the DuPont Teflon brand. Teflon surface protector is a durable, stain and soil repellent meant to keep floors looking new longer.

"Teflon is one of the most trusted brands in the world, and we are enthusiastic that it will have a positive effect on the products it's in," said Kim Holm, president of residential business for Mannington.

Mannington plans to have products with the Teflon brand available beginning in April, 2003.
