Mapei develops new fast-drying technology
Mapei has developed HCT (High-Hydrated Cement Technology), a proprietary component formulated to make cement set ultra quickly. HCT can be found in Mapei's Ultratop and Ultraplan series underlayments, in the company's full-contact mortars including the Ultra/Contact series and Grani/Rapid systems, and in Ultra/Color grouts. HCT is also incorporated in Mapei's surface preparation line through Plani/Patch.
