Taylor Lumber establishes West Coast subsidiary

Taylor Lumber, a manufacturer of rift and quartered lumber and flooring, has established Taylor West, a new subsidiary in Sacramento, Calif., to efficiently provide product to distributors in the western United States.

"Providing quality lumber and flooring to our Western U.S. distributors, while maintaining product availability and competitive prices from our location in Ohio, was a challenge for us," noted Dave Graf, company president. "Taylor West allows us, as an Eastern manufacturer, to be closer to (western) distributors so that they are able to buy smaller parcels instead of whole truckloads to get what they need."
